First Question

Rather than ask about Shakespeare, or English, or the play itself, here's a random question from the Blogger archives:

You're digging a hole to China, where do you start?

it's impossible to dig a hole to china. you'd burn up from the heat of the core and mantle long before you could get past the continental plates.

Of course if i were to try and dig a hole to china i would find the lowest part of edmonton and start digging, but then once you got too close to the mantle like "anonymous" said,... you would fry like an egg.

It is not impossible to dig a hole to China, it is very tough and it would take years and years to finish it. But engineers can do it because they got the right technology and knowledge to do this kind of stuff. Let's say if i ever start digging it alone i won't be able to dig up to my neighbour's house.

good luck with that varinder.

if i were to be digging a hole to China, of course I would start in my own backyard. But I know that it would be impossible to dig a hole to China. :)

really, anyone can dig a hole to china, assuming that they've buried some china in their backyard or something already...not sure why you'd want to dig up old chinaware, but hey, why not...

well, if i were to dig a hole to china,I would first have to ask myself why am i doing this? Is there a special reason for my adventure? Or am i just so desperate for something to do that i would resort to digging a hole to china? Then i would go to the map and a model of the earths layers and soon find out that it is impossible. In conlusion, i wouldnt start, I'd seek therapy.

I would start just outside the border of China and dig a few feet under and back up on the other side. :)

I tried that once...starting in my neighbour's sand box :)

umm i would start in China. or on a country that borders china. that way i could just like..dig a little tunnel. none of this core and all the scientific words that no one really know what they mean. use common sense people.

I'd start right out side the border and dig a tunnel in. The question never said where I had to start the hole. The only problem is the plane ride there before I started to dig. But it would work.
